How we think about it

Businesses rarely have a technology problem in isolation. They have a way of working that technology is either supporting or getting in the way of. We start there — with how the work actually happens — before deciding what to build.

That usually means treating software and hardware as one decision rather than two. A booking system that doesn't know what the front desk is doing, or a terminal that doesn't talk to the software behind it, creates work rather than removing it.

We'd rather build less and have it fit properly than build broadly and leave the business to bridge the gaps.
